Heartburn sucks…….. Be greatful if you don’t suffer from stomach ailments

Yes, I have heartburn, that acid reflux crap that that affects 44% of all Americans. I sort of got the short end of the stick on this one. My Mom has hereditary heartburn issues, while my Dad has hereditary stomach problems. Combine this with the fact I was born with a birth defect that resulted in my intestine rupturing and having a chunk of it removed, this spells stomach trouble city. This affects my life more often that I would like to admit, lost sleep, irritability, loss of comfort. There isn’t much I can do except take medicines that would affect my body and I am not even sure that is a good idea.  One day when I find a real safe home remedy that works, I will post here.

OK, Like this,
1. no coffee, tea, soda (except sprite)
Try to stick to Water or sprite
2. Eat regular meals. Avoid spicy, greasy, (they don’t have to be Big) Good is boiled chicken, you can make alot of things with that. (sandwiches, salads, burritos, omlettes, you can even Bar B Que it after its boiled,
3. Have that Top Ramen noodles 2 or 3 times a week with some vinegar in it.
4.Start your day with steel cut oatmeal (everyday during the first month)

Do this for a month or so, you will start to see results pretty quick. and watch what you eating in the future.

Soda, coffee and tea (caffeine and Phosphoric acid (toilet bowl cleaner) ) Read the Labels) on an empty stomach will give you bad heart burn real quick.

Some times vegetables will give you bad (painful) gas and add to heart burn as well.

An Empty stomach especially while working beggs for something and we usually reach for the wrong thing because its quick and easy (soda, coffee, candy, ETC. Bring snacks to works to munch on in between meals like wheat thins pretzels; that kind of stuff.

The vinegar in the Top Ramen Occasionally, will fool your stomach into believing that enough acid has been made and acid production will slow down.
But be careful you shouldn’t eat it by it self or too much, Eat it with something else ( As a part of your supper meal perhaps ) or this plan will backfire.
I bet you if you stick to the plan your heart burn will go away.

you may have to repeat this ( month of plain foods )from time to time over the years. and of course remember the basics of Soda, coffee, tea, and empty stomach.

By the way Once your stomach has a chance to heal up, it will be ck to have the spicy and greasy stuff from time to time.
