I am still alive – Got alot going on.. Will update soon, Dustn

Today, My son wrote his very first shell script at 6 years old. I am so Proud! I gave him a 3 minute lesson on how programming works by you telling the computer what to do, then it does as asked. He wrote the following shell script.

I normally hate kids movies, but I must say KungFu Panda is a great movie. I am also normally a hard egg to crack and do not laugh during movies, but this movie admittedly had me laughing. I created the GAS PC mod with a old pc – this is actually my home Linux server running Debian etch 4.0.

I loved HE-MAN too. Gawd, the 80’s had the best cartoons ever.

Back in the 80’s , The GoBots were popular as well as the transformers. Not sure why they haven’t thrived as well. I guess transformers won over history. Every week I will post a new 80’s video as this will become a site routine.

Mozilla is currently asking for pledges to break a guiness world record for downloads during the release of Firefox3. Basically what will happen is that once the download release is official they will send you a email letting you know when to download. This made no sense at all. Someone hacked the NASA Phoenix mars lander site. To me, this is a total waste of freaking time and productivity. Why attack a site for a mission that is for the benefit of science? For publicity? To have your name on it? This is the type of crap that irritates me. You have talented people out there that can hack a site, and they waste their time on something like this when they could be working for a company making plenty of money. PCWorld reported today that Time Warner is planning on implementing metered bandwidth and possibly dropping unlimited internet access plans. This is just another ploy by big business to make money and all it really does is limit the access of information to the lower income families. I detest the thought of a highly regulated internet. The people who are leading this charge BLOW. I normally do not say such bad words, but they are ASSHOLES who are trying to ruin the internet. The internet is all about freedom and this really makes my blood boil. Time Warner will never get my business. NEVER! I hope this fails miserably, and they see what a dumb mistake they have made. I would also encourage anyone who uses Time Warner /Road Runner to protest to their ISP and let them know you hate this!!! – Dustin
